As a mom herself, Dr. Abenoja knows the first visit to a doctor’s office can sometimes feel intimidating, especially for kids. But, your first visit to Warrior Orthodontics will be completely painless!
We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. At your free initial consultation, you’ll be welcomed by our team, introduced to expert orthodontist Dr. Christine Abenoja, and shown around our family-friendly office.
Your initial appointment will consist of collecting orthodontic records, which Dr. Abenoja will study prior to your exam. This important one-hour visit will give Dr. Abenoja insight into your orthodontic needs.
We know your time is valuable, so to expedite treatment, we may also reserve time following the exam for diagnostic records. The records include X-rays, photos, and scans and are necessary for developing the appropriate treatment plan.

During your first consultation exam, Dr. Abenoja and our team will address the following questions that cover the basics of orthodontic treatment:
- Is there a condition that orthodontics can address?
- Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
- What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?
- Do any permanent teeth need to be removed?
- How long will treatment take?
- How much will it cost?
- What are my payment options?
Dr. Abenoja feels it’s important to analyze your specific needs because in-depth planning leads to superior results and higher patient satisfaction.

Your Custom Treatment Plan
After reviewing your records, Dr. Abenoja will join you in a private room to discuss your customized treatment plan. She will point out any areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing examples of similar cases.
Dr. Abenoja will take as much time as you need to answer your questions and determine what kind of treatment is best for you. She and her Treatment Coordinator will then walk you through the entire process, explaining everything from scheduling and expected discomfort levels, to finances and payment options.
